Artist's Statement

Like a pirate wearing an eyepatch, artist Stevie Bee doesn't have depth perception.

They like:

- focusing on 2d works, texture, patterns, strong contrast, bold colors and forms

- using art to turn dreams into reality

- combining traditional printmaking with modern tools

- when art is approachable, playful, and curious

- when tools are sharp and carve with little effort, with a satisfying fling at the end

They have a compulsion to make stuff.

They don't make art to make money, they make money to make art.
